About the Role:
The Central Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a skilled Youth Clinician to join our Western Youth Team, Mental Health Services. As a specialist in mental health, you will be part of a collaborative team delivering recovery-focused services to young people.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing comprehensive care coordination, including care planning, mental health assessments, and psychosocial evaluations
Engaging in advocacy and supporting integrated care
Working closely with other mental health teams, primary care providers, and government and non-government organisations
Contributing to service improvements, research, and education
Job Description:
This role involves providing specialist assessments, therapy, and crisis management for young people experiencing mental health issues. You will work closely with young people, their families, and carers to stabilise mental health, build capacity for self-management, and support them in participating in valued community activities.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. A degree in a relevant field, such as psychology or social work, is essential.
