We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Events Manager to join our team at Westin Hotels Resorts. As a key member of our events team, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities
• Assist in planning and executing meetings and events, ensuring seamless execution and high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Develop and implement strategies to grow event revenues and improve operational efficiency.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales teams and catering departments, to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Collaborate with external partners, such as vendors and suppliers, to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, providing insights and recommendations to support business growth.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent; 2 years of experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area.
• Or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 1 year of experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing, or related professional area.
