St. Clair Medical is an established medical clinic which has been around for over 30 years. Our team is comprised of family physicians, nurses and medical administrative assistants.

We are seeking a dedicated and organized MOA to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic, providing exceptional support to both patients and other staff. This position requires strong clerical skills, excellent phone etiquette, and the ability to manage various administrative tasks efficiently.

Duties

Greet patients and visitors at the front desk, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle patient inquiries with professionalism.
Maintain accurate patient records and files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
Respond to incoming doctor messages for patient results and follow up requirements.
Perform general office duties including data entry, filing, and managing correspondence.
Collaborate with team members to enhance office operations and improve patient care services.

Requirements

Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably in a medical setting.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for interacting with patients and vendors.
Familiarity with medical terminology is required.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Experience working with an Electronic Medical Records system (EMR). Having experience with Avaros EMR is a plus.
Proficiency using Microsoft Outlook to efficiently filter and respond to emails.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
