Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist to join our team at Sunrise Hospital. As a Medical Technologist, you will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and procedures in various fields such as bacteriology, parasitology, hematology, coagulation, serology, chemistry, urinalysis, immunology, and immunohematology.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in medical technology from an accredited college or university and successful score on a national examination for certification approved by the State Board. Experience in a large clinical laboratory and children's hospital setting is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory tests and procedures in accordance with established protocols and policies
- Report results according to established professional standards
- Work actively and cooperatively with nursing and other hospital staff to ensure timely patient care
- Assist with regulatory compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in medical technology from an accredited college or university
- Successful score on a national examination for certification approved by the State Board
- Experience in a large clinical laboratory and children's hospital setting (preferred)
