Mechanical Technician for Classic Vehicle Restoration

Job description
We are looking for an additional mechanic with some experience, to join our team working with both Classic Vehicle Restorations and morden vehicle marques.

We will consider both Part time and Full time candidates.

We are a small independent business with a brilliant team, both mechanically and in bodywork. Not only are we looking for someone who has some experience working with vehicles, we are looking for someone who wants to join a friendly and relaxed working environment.

Responsibilities:

- Carry out full restoration work to classic vehicles

- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, and filter replacements

- Conduct diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues and make necessary repairs

- Repair or replace vehicle components, such as brakes, suspension systems, and exhaust systems

- Use power tools and hand tools to complete mechanical tasks

- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on vehicles-

Skills:

- Mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems

- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for repairs and maintenance

- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues effectively

- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex vehicle problems

Note: Prior experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role is of benefit
