Genus Industrial Services are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to work on the Sino Desalination Plant Project.
2:1 FIFO Roster + 12 hour rotating shift schedule

We are looking for a Mechanical Fitter who can:
Carry out repairs, maintenance and installation to plant equipment, including pumps, gearbox, valve, and other mechanical components.
Coordinate and perform permit preparation, issuing and isolation of plant and equipment.
Perform regular inspections and testing of emergency equipment.
Assist with diagnosis and faults on mechanical equipment.
Conduct quality audits on work performed.
Skills, Experience and Knowledge:
Knowledge of mechanical fitting techniques and processes required for the maintenance of desalination plant assets.
Ability to work with a wide range of materials, including plastics and steels.
Ability to work unsupervised.
High level problem solving and organisation skills.
Essential Requirements:
Available for an immediate start.
OHS Construction Safety Induction ‘White Card’.
Mechanical Trade Certificate.
WA Drivers Licence.
Hold or ability to obtain MSIC
Current Working at Heights and Confined Space.
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a mechanical fitter.
Previous FIFO experience.
Strong work ethic and time management skills.
Physically fit, hardworking, committed and safety focused.
