We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of plumbing systems, be able to read blueprints and schematics, and possess the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role requires a hands-on approach to install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency with various tools and techniques while adhering to safety standards.
Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for various plumbing tasks.
Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify potential issues.
Collaborate with carpenters and HVAC technicians to ensure integrated system functionality.
Execute heavy lifting tasks as required during installation or repair processes.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
Experience
Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role is preferred.
Familiarity with basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks.
Experience in blueprint reading and understanding schematics is essential.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is highly desirable.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively.
Previous experience working alongside carpenters or in construction environments is a plus.
