Marketplace Performance Manager Role Overview
You will own the end-to-end strategy and execution for our product listings and paid ads across Amazon, Walmart, and Google Merchant Center (GMC). Our primary markets are US and Canada. Your goal is to drive visibility, conversions, and revenue growth by ensuring our listings and campaigns are fully optimized and aligned with platform best practices.
Main Responsibilities
Amazon Listings Advertising
• Manage and optimize product listings (titles, bullet points, A+ content, backend keywords, etc.)
• E nsure SEO best practices are applied to improve organic visibility
• Plan and execute Amazon Advertising campaigns (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Display)
• Analyze ACOS, TACOS, and ROAS to continuously refine ad strategy
• Monitor Buy Box ownership, suppressions, and policy compliance Walmart Listings Advertising
• Manage and enhance Walmart product catalog (title, description, attributes, images, etc.)
• E nsure compliance with Walmart's listing standards and data quality guidelines
• Plan and manage Walmart Connect ad campaigns
• Track and improve ad performance metrics such as CTR, CPC, and ROAS
• Resolve listing errors or suppression issues promptly
Google Merchant Center (GMC)
• Manage product feed submissions via GMC and ensure all items are approved and active
• Troubleshoot and resolve feed errors, policy violations, and disapprovals
• Work with dev/ops to ensure structured data and schema are properly configured
• Collaborate with Google Ads team to ensure feed optimization aligns with campaign goals
Requirements
• 4–6 years of proven experience managing listings and ads of US Brands on Amazon, Walmart, and Google Merchant Center
• Strong understanding of marketplace algorithms and SEO best practices
• Hands-on experience with tools like Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Walmart Seller Center, Google Feed Rules, etc.
• Deep knowledge of advertising campaign structure, bidding strategies, and performance optimization
• Analytical mindset – proficiency with Excel, Looker Studio, or other reporting tools
• Ability to troubleshoot feed or ad issues across platforms
Excellent communication and project management skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with large product catalogs (500+ SKUs)
• Familiarity with bulk operations, feed automation, and API integrations
• Understanding of compliance requirements (e.g., listing policies, product restrictions)
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (design, dev, content)
