Job Description
About the role
We're looking for a proactive and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our Marketing team. Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, you'll help deliver engaging, integrated marketing campaigns that bring the Scouts SA brand to life.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives on variety – from writing compelling content and managing digital channels, to supporting media relations and brand activity across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Create and publish engaging digital content across social media, websites, email and more
Support the development and rollout of integrated marketing campaigns
Write and edit communications materials, including press releases, blog posts and newsletters
Maintain Scouts SA’s web presence and digital content
Assist with media outreach, stakeholder communications and brand management
Use analytics to report on campaign performance and optimise content
Some out-of-hours work, and occasional travel may be required
Desired Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring

Tertiary qualification or relevant experience in marketing, communications or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in a marketing or communications role (NFP or retail sector experience highly regarded)
Strong writing and editing skills for both digital and traditional media
Confident with tools such as Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Canva, Adobe, and WordPress
A collaborative, detail-oriented approach with strong time management
Creativity and initiative to help tell the Scouts SA story in fresh, exciting ways
