Job description
The primary purpose of your job position is to develop, coordinate, direct, and administer our facility's marketing and public relations programs and services.
Essential Duties
• Maintain a current listing of all resident care employee phone numbers.
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the facility's public relations and marketing programs and activities to maintain and increase our census and inform the community about our services.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures for the release of information, ensuring compliance with Privacy Rules and Regulations.
• Assist department directors in marketing and public relations policies, fostering interdepartmental rapport.
• Review and update marketing policies annually.
• Develop, implement, and track customer satisfaction surveys.
• Interpret policies regarding information release to various stakeholders.
• Ensure accuracy of public information materials.
• Organize internal communications and participate in departmental meetings.
• Support activity and social services departments with resident programs and publications.
• Maintain liaison with families, residents, and community leaders.
• Engage with community service and civic groups for charitable activities.
• Coordinate media relations for facility programs and promotions.
• Monitor media coverage affecting the facility and inform leadership.
• Establish a public relations area during emergencies for accurate information dissemination.
• Assist in planning and conducting training related to marketing and public relations.
• Create a positive environment within the facility.
• Follow ergonomics and safety policies to prevent injuries.
• Prepare and manage the departmental budget.
• Serve on facility committees as directed.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and report incidents of unauthorized disclosure.
• Interpret resident rights to residents, families, and staff.
Supervisory Requirements

This position has supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (five years in healthcare marketing/public relations).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Demands

Must occasionally lift/move up to 25 pounds, and perform desk work, walking, talking, reading, and hearing. May assist in evacuations.
Work Environment

Low to moderate noise level, reasonable accommodations provided.

Summary of Benefits
