Job description
Job Title: Content Event Specialist

Experience: 2-5 years

Location: Andheri, Mumbai

Job Description:
• Proven experience in content creation, event planning, and conference management a PR or communications setting.
• Experience in working with clients in the BFSI, education, manufacturing, packaging, legal and technology sectors.
• Develop engaging and informative content for articles, press releases, blogs, social media, and internal communication related to events and conferences.
• Work closely with the PR and marketing teams to align content with overall communication strategies.
• Write compelling copy for client-facing materials such as event invites, reports, and brochures.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate relevant insights into content creation.
• Analyze content performance, making data-driven recommendations.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effi ciently.
• Knowledge of digital marketing trends, including social media platforms and content distribution.
• Familiarity with content management event management tools systems is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related fi eld.
• Knowledge of SEO and other digital content optimization techniques.
• A proactive and creative problem-solver with a strong client-centric focus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning Execution:

- Develop and implement an effective B2B sales strategy focused on securing corporate partnerships, wedding dcor contracts, and bulk orders.

- Identify and target high-potential markets and clients to drive revenue growth.

Business Development:

- Proactively source, approach, and secure key corporate accounts, weddings, and bulk order opportunities.

- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers, event planners, wedding organizers, and bulk buyers.

- Negotiate contract terms and secure favorable deals that align with Faayas brand values and margins.

Team Leadership Management:

- Lead, mentor, and manage the B2B sales team to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.

- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development to enhance team capabilities.

Market Analysis Reporting:

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to continuously refine sales strategies.

- Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and insights to senior management.

Collaboration Coordination:

- Work closely with the marketing team to align lead-generation strategies, promotional campaigns, and digital initiatives with sales objectives.

- Coordinate with product design and operations teams to ensure that client requirements are met with timely and quality dcor solutions.

- Ensure seamless post-sale follow-up and client relationship management for repeat business and referrals.

Client Service Excellence:

- Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by maintaining professionalism, responsiveness, and transparency throughout the sales cycle.

- Resolve client issues promptly and uphold the highest standards of service consistency.

Required Skills Qualifications

Education:

- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

- An MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred.

Experience:

- A minimum of 8-10 years of B2B sales experience, preferably within the home dcor, interior design, event management, or related industries.

- Demonstrated success in securing corporate, wedding, and bulk order sales, with a proven track record of managing large accounts and complex sales cycles.

Skills:

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

- Strong leadership abilities with a capacity to motivate and guide a diverse sales team.

- Strategic thinker with robust analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while managing multiple projects.

- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office applications.

Other:

- Ability to travel frequently for client visits, trade shows, and meetings.

- A creative mindset with the ability to align sales approaches with innovative dcor trends
