Maintenance Fitter

Permanent position

£40 to £44k per annum (depending on experience)

Repairing and maintaining overhead cranes

Working in a heavy industrial company

Previous experience of Steel environment or Quarries an advantage.

Days Monday to Friday

Based in Swadlincote area

Ideally with a proven engineering background

Duties of a Maintenance Fitter
• Servicing and repairing heavy industrial machinery - Overhead Cranes, Large plant machines
• Working on electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems and equipment

Experience required for a Maintenance Fitter
• Ideally you will have proven experience of working with large factory / industrial machinery
• Overhead Crane repair / maintenance experience an advantage
• You will be able to work on your own initiative
• Previous experience of working as a Maintenance Fitter
• Will be able to have a regular service place and preventative measures structure to ensure that all machines are working
• Knowledge of working with pneumatic and hydraulics would be preferable
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Engineering qualifications and certification
