Aerostream Logistics is a leading logistics service supplier with operations in Washington State and British Columbia. From warehousing, inventory distribution, import, export and delivery services, our well-rounded team of dynamic individuals provides a multitude of logistics solutions to ensure our customers’ needs are met.

Aerostream is looking for a committed, hardworking, and responsible, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Billing Clerk on a contract basis from July to October/November.

The Logistics Billing Clerk will assume various operating and administrative duties related to logistic coordination, project administration, billing practices and procedures with our Transborder Operations team. The right applicant will possess excellent communication and organizational skills. Also, you must be able to multi-task and are able to re-prioritize tasks based on changing information within tight deadlines.

Job Summary:

· Enter notification of goods that arrive in the warehouse using internal software systems

· Send out arrival notices to brokers via Outlook

· Create and follow up on invoices for fees to be recovered using Quickbooks

· Communicate with external customers and internal departments to facilitate trucking solutions via Outlook

· Data entry and log jobs into internal database systems and update as required

· Prepare jobs for invoicing upon completion

· Assist with other duties related to transborder operations

· Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Shift Times:

8:30am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday

Hours may vary slightly based on business needs. Availability for overtime hours as required.

Required Qualifications:

· Experience using Quickbooks (online and desktop versions) preferred

· Efficient navigation between multiple software systems on a computer

· Knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with excellent keyboarding skills

· Strong organizational and time management skills

· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Strong verbal and written communication skills.

· Proven ability to multi-task, establish priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure to meet competing objectives.

· Exceptional ability to analyze circumstances, solve problems and make sound rational decisions.

Compensation:

Depending on experience, the hourly rate is between $22-25 per hour.
