Job Summary

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping, marinating, and measuring.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure the safety and quality of all dishes.
Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning equipment and work areas.
Skills
Proficient in food preparation techniques with a strong understanding of meal preparation processes.
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations within the food industry.
Experience working in a restaurant or commercial kitchen environment is preferred.
Strong ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Strong attention to detail in both cooking and presentation of dishes.
