Are you self driven individual with a passion for woodfired food and craft cocktails? Woodwork and Clementine are looking for an experienced cook to join our team. Woodwork and partnered restaurants are looking for career driven individuals who are looking for growth in an environment that promotes work/life balance and personal development.

Responsibilities;

-Work with the Chef and kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient daily operations of the kitchen.

- Work together with all staff members, creating a positive and professional work environment.

- Help manage food inventory and ordering, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.

- Ensure strict adherence to food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen at all times.

- Assist in menu development and the creation of seasonal features.

- Collaborate with the front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests.

- Contribute to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through the consistent delivery of exceptional food quality and presentation.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen.

- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high standards.

- In-depth understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.

- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

- A passion for food and a commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

- Experience working with woodfire cooking considered an asset

- Journeypersons certificate/ Red Seal, or equivalent trade certificate is an asset.

- Certification in Food Safety Handling considered an asset.

-Culinary Diploma considered an asset.

Apprenticeship opportunity and on the job training also available.

Interviews will be held Woodwork located at 10132 100st NW Edmonton. Only successful candidates will be contacted.

Expected hours: 34 – 40 per week
