Legal Officer
Job description
Key Responsibilities:
• Mitigate the company's legal bindings in various current legal matters pending at court, including:
o Reviewing and analyzing existing legal cases and identifying potential risks and liabilities.
o Developing and implementing effective legal strategies to minimize the company's exposure to legal risks.
o Collaborating with external lawyers and other experts to achieve the best possible outcomes in ongoing legal cases.
• Handle all legal and administrative matters for the company, including contracts, agreements, and compliance.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to the management team on various matters, including
employment law, contract law, and regulatory compliance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to ensure that the company's interests are protected.
• Manage and maintain all administrative functions, including company records, policies, and
procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Knowledge of patent Filing, FER, Trade mark
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in a legal and administration role, preferably with a minimum of 3yr
reputed law firm or a SME.
• Strong knowledge of Indian laws and regulations, including corporate law, litigation, and dispute resolution.
• Experience in handling complex legal cases and disputes, with a proven track record of achieving successful outcomes.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Education:
• LL.B. or equivalent degree from a recognized university.
• Additional qualifications, such as an LL.M. or a diploma in business law, would be an advantage.
