Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Associate / Principal Associate to join our dynamic corporate and MA practice in Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have 6–10 years of post-qualification experience with a strong focus on cross-border mergers acquisitions and private equity transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
● Lead and manage end-to-end cross-border MA and private equity deals, including due diligence, drafting, negotiation, and execution of transaction documents.
● Advise clients on structuring investments, exits, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.
● Draft, review, and negotiate term sheets, share purchase agreements, shareholders’ agreements, and related documentation.
● Liaise with domestic and international clients, advisors, and counterparties.
● Supervise and mentor the team.Stay updated with legal and regulatory developments impacting MA/PE transactions in India and globally.
Required Qualifications Experience:
● LL.B. from a reputed law school; LL.M. (preferred, but not mandatory).
● 6 to 10 years of experience in a leading law firm or in-house legal team with significant exposure to cross-border MA and private equity transactions.
● Excellent understanding of Indian corporate, contract, FDI, and securities laws.
● Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
● Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
