Job description

Your role and responsibilities:

- Provide end-to-end support to the IP Team; supporting formalities-based activities across the group for all IP topics, including patents, designs, trademarks, and copyrights.
- Prepare, file and format patent/design, trademarks, and copyright documents for submission to the UK/SE/EP/PCT US PTO Patent offices as required, completing all associated docketing requirements within Nasdaq’s IP management tool.
- Instruct and interact with domestic and foreign outside counsels, as appropriate at the foreign/national stage, filing completing associated docketing activities.
- Supervise central IP mailboxes, docketing as appropriate and communicating with IP counsels within the IP team.
- Handle the docket(s) of IP counsels, maintaining due dates, supervising deadlines, and weekly meetings to review.
- Support integration of and/or divestiture of IP assets resulting from MA activities.
- Assist in the development of processes and lead project initiatives across the IP Team.
- Occasionally assist with online searches and research on IP matters

You will need the following
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent.
- (IP) Paralegal certification is meritorious.
- At least 3+ years of IP paralegal experience in a corporate setting or a law firm.
- Detailed knowledge of prosecution practices of patent and trademark laws in particularly e.g. US and EP, knowledge of other jurisdictions is highly meritorious.
- Proficient in MS Office and using IP-management tools.

Job description
Responsibilities and Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Managing internal and external legal compliance, including reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts.
• Assisting business functions on all legal matters, ensuring that contracts are fit for purpose and include appropriate protections.
• Supporting the Head of Legal with commercial disputes and litigation, including liaising with insurers and reporting to relevant stakeholders.
• Driving compliance initiatives, working with the Compliance team to ensure policies, procedures, and training are in place.
• Monitoring legal and regulatory developments to anticipate future risks and issues.
About the Role

This is a senior position that requires a lawyer with 8-12 years of experience in a manufacturing MNC. You should have experience in both legal and compliance roles and a strong understanding of the manufacturing industry.
