Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Lawyer Assistant to join our team at the Merced Superior Court. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing paraprofessional legal support, conducting research, and preparing documents.
Key Responsibilities
Case Management: Develop and implement case management strategies to promote efficient handling of cases.
Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough research on various legal topics and analyze data to provide recommendations.
Document Preparation: Prepare a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and court filings.
Communication: Serve as a liaison between court staff, attorneys, and other stakeholders, providing clear and concise information.
Requirements
Education: A certificate in paralegal studies or a related field.
Experience: Three years of experience in a legal setting, preferably with knowledge of California laws and procedures.
Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
