Pipefitting Installation Expertise Needed
We are seeking a highly skilled individual to fill the position of Large Bore Pipework Installer at Lochwinnoch. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in industrial fabrication and the installation of large-bore pipework systems.
Salary Information: The base salary for this role is £37,318.00 per annum, with the possibility of additional shift allowance of up to 33% based on the work schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
This role involves fabricating and installing large-bore pipework systems using various materials, such as copper, cuni, carbon steel, and stainless steel. The ideal candidate will have experience with hand tools and mechanical equipment, including cutting, bending, and welding pipes, as well as the installation of utilities aboard ships.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Candidates must hold a valid Modern Apprenticeship certificate (Trade Papers), have current knowledge and experience of pipe manufacture and installation, understand manufacturing processes, SHE and COSHH risks awareness, be comfortable working in confined spaces and/or at height, and possess safety certification.
