Lab Operations Technician

Job Description:
We are seeking a contractor Lab Technician to support the Cell Therapy Development and Operations team.
Responsibilities include maintaining lab equipment, troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and implementing emergency response plans.
The role also involves assisting with efficiency improvement programs, managing equipment moves, and collaborating with internal and external partners.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and time management skills, be highly organized, and work well collaboratively.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, repair, and respond to emergent needs of lab equipment.
Perform routine and non-routine maintenance of lab equipment, including sterilization.
Assist with general lab organization, efficiency, functionality, and productivity.
Interface with warehouse teams, facilities, EHS, and end-user groups to ensure needs are met, safety protocols are followed, and communication is clear.
Collaborate with external partners to schedule and follow up on preventative and corrective service measures.
Experience:
2+ years of relevant Scientific industry experience.
Skills:
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and time management skills, be highly organized, and work well collaboratively.
5S/Lean Six Sigma
CMMS or management system experience preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Outlook).
General familiarity with scientific laboratory environment, safety, and operations.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree.
