Responsibilities
The Kit/Pack Operator 1 is responsible for the identification and location of specific component parts, preparation of products for shipment, and delivering the materials/products to their intended locations
Uses jib crane and related lifting devices, forklift, and/or other material handling equipment to transport materials and products into and out of the work area as required
Packages, bands, or shrink-wraps products or loads
Enter job data in the production tracking system
Inspects material handling equipment and lifting devices
Transacts material moves using barcode readers
Checks for inventory and data recording errors daily
Performs cycle counts
Verifies quantities listed on manufacturing documentation are met and items conform to prints
Properly organizes and stores material
Verifies/Counts parts moved to match paperwork for inventory accuracy
Maintains organization of products and raw materials
Reads drawings/prints to identify parts
Gathers/picks/assembles products on pick lists/load lists
Puts product away in designated areas

The Kit/Pack Operator 1 is responsible for the identification and location of specific component parts, preparation of products for shipment, and delivering the materials/products to their intended locations.

As a Kit/Pack Operator 1, you will:
• Uses jib crane and related lifting devices, forklift, and/or other material handling equipment to transport materials and products into and out of the work area as required
• Packages, bands, or shrink-wraps products or loads
• Enter job data in the production tracking system
• Inspects material handling equipment and lifting devices
• Transacts material moves using barcode readers
• Checks for inventory and data recording errors daily
• Performs cycle counts
• Verifies quantities listed on manufacturing documentation are met and items conform to prints
