The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, and support the overall operations of our food service environment. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently while adhering to health and safety standards.
Duties
Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients.
Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
Support cooks and chefs in various cooking tasks as needed.
Ensure all food handling procedures are followed to maintain safety and hygiene standards.
Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and reporting shortages to management.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to food service and hospitality.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with basic food preparation techniques and food handling practices is a plus.
A strong interest in the hospitality industry, particularly within hotels or restaurants.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards helping others.
