We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Hand to join our back-of-house team.

Job Description:
As a Kitchen Hand at Ellenika, you’ll play a key support role in ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly. You will assist chefs with food preparation, maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, and follow health and safety standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with basic food preparation under the direction of chefs
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
Wash dishes and cooking equipment promptly and efficiently
Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
Dispose of rubbish and maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas
Follow food hygiene and safety procedures consistently
Requirements:

Previous kitchen hand or hospitality experience preferred but not essential
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Availability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
Physically fit and capable of standing for long periods and lifting heavy items
Punctual and reliable
