About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate Registered Nurse to join our Kahu Taurima team supporting Pacific families in Counties Manukau. Based in Mangere, you will focus on early intervention, working with pregnant Pacific women and parents of children under five to ensure a safe, informed journey from pregnancy through early childhood.
What will you do:
Provide culturally respectful health assessments and support for parents and young children
Monitor pregnancies and connect families with midwives and health services
Educate families on key health issues and promote positive well-being
Conduct home visits and support clients during medical appointments
Collaborate with social workers and the Kahu Taurima team to deliver holistic care
Use Pacific languages and cultural knowledge to build strong relationships
Manage your time well and communicate clearly across different platforms
What we are looking for:
Registered Nurse with a current NZ Annual Practising Certificate and 3+ years experience
Experience in community or maternal/child health preferred.
Strong Pacific cultural understanding and the ability to speak a Pacific language are preferred.
Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
Full NZ Driver's Licence.
