Job Title: Jr VM Designer
The Visual Merchandising Junior Designer will play a crucial role in creating captivating and impactful store displays, layouts, and visual merchandising concepts. This position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate the brand's identity into memorable customer experiences through innovative in-store and window displays.
Responsibilities:
Design and Concept Development:
Develop innovative and creative visual merchandising concepts, window displays, and in-store displays that align with the brand image and marketing strategies.
Gain a deep understanding of the brand's identity, products, and target audience.
Visual Merchandising Design:
Design and create visually appealing visual merchandising displays, including window displays, in-store displays, and promotional materials.
Ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and meet brand standards.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including store operations, brand management, and product development to ensure alignment and effective execution.
Communicate design concepts, plans, and timelines to stakeholders.
Design Execution and Implementation:
Oversee the installation of visual merchandising displays.
Ensure displays are executed according to design plans and brand standards.
Trend Analysis and Research:
Stay up-to-date with the latest visual merchandising trends, industry developments, and competitor activity.
Conduct research to inform design concepts and stay ahead of industry trends.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
1–3 years of relevant experience in visual merchandising, retail design, or related fields.
Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Sketchup).
Strong sense of aesthetics, design principles, and attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of materials, fabrication, and display construction.
Good communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
