We’re Hiring Junior Sous Chef – Food Production
Location: The Postcard on the Arabian Sea
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing daily food preparation while maintaining the highest quality standards
- Coordinating tasks and workflow within the kitchen team
- Supervising kitchen operations and delegating responsibilities efficiently
- Estimating daily production requirements and ensuring quality of raw and cooked items
- Ensuring all food is prepared, presented, and served to company standards
- Maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction through exceptional food quality
- Monitoring food costs and ensuring cost efficiency across operations
- Documenting and maintaining SOPs for preparation, hygiene, storage, and sanitation
- Creating and updating recipe documentation, including presentation guidelinesOverseeing kitchen equipment usage and ensuring prompt maintenance
- Conducting food trials as part of our pre-employment assessment process
What We’re Looking For:
- A positive attitude and strong attention to detail
- Proven experience in kitchen operations, preferably in a leadership role
- Ability to handle guest feedback and resolve issues proactively
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility and willingness to work in a remote location
- Familiarity with multiple cuisines
- Proficiency in the local language is preferred
