We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in plumbing systems, ensuring the efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing systems. This role requires a hands-on approach, utilising both hand tools and power tools to complete tasks effectively.
Duties
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.
• Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
• Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential problems.
• Perform welding tasks as needed for pipe repairs or installations.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to ensure seamless project completion.
• Adhere to safety regulations and building codes while performing all plumbing duties.
• Carry out heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required during installations or repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements
• Proven experience as a plumber or in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to plumbing tasks.
• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing installations.
• A valid commercial driving licence is advantageous for transporting materials to job sites.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
