A summary of the role
This role is a fixed-term contract of 12 months.
Your main activities will be to :
Focus on controlling activities, financial reporting month-end closing for Ingenico UK Limited
Support 5 legal entities based in the UK, Germany, and Switzerland
Reporting to the Head of Finance
Based in Dalgety Bay, Fife, Scotland
We are flexible in our way of working and strongly encourage a hybrid model of part office/part remote (office 2 days per week)
Key responsibilities
Assist in month-end closing
Support statutory financial, regulatory, and statistical reporting requirements
Support internal and external audit activity
Focus on internal control
Monthly PL reporting to internal budget holders / cost centre managers
Preparation of monthly financial reports for senior management including variance analysis
Reporting of KPIs via dashboards, project reporting, profitability reporting
Financial analysis including business cases and pricing requests
Desired Skills and Abilities
Qualified Accountant with 1-2 years post-qual experience
Strong knowledge of both UK and International Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards
Very strong knowledge of Excel
Must be a quick learner, pro-active, well organised and self- motivated
Collaborative and team orientated
Good communication skills at all levels within the organisation
Ability to use initiative and self-starter
Knowledge of SAP would be a strong advantage
Previous experience of working in the Finance function within a large international Group
