Jr| Database Administrator

Responsibilities:

Oracle, MS SQL Server, and PostgreSQL installation, configuration, performance tuning, client/server connectivity, query optimization.

Database backup, restore and disaster recovery procedures.

Basic knowledge of data modeling.

Large data replication and synchronization solutions such as change-data-capture (CDC), snapshot, merge and transactional.

Basic knowledge of database services on Cloud (AWS/Azure) and hands-on experience of data migration from on-prem environment to Cloud.

Clustering and load balancing with database servers – good to have

Writing complex stored procedures and triggers – good to have

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's Degree

Practical experience (3+ years) in heterogenous database environments (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).

General IT security best practices.

Server/storage platforms and hardware.

Data communications and network standards.

Participating in large-scale application support efforts.

Excellent problem solving and decision-making skills.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Certification in Oracle and SQL Server preferred
