About the Role...
We are currently seeking experienced Housekeeping Managers to head up our teams in multiple locations across Australia. The role is crucial to the success of the hotels and involves managing all housekeeping operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and compliance of hotel standards.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
Minimum of a Diploma- level qualification in hospitality management or related field.
At least two years of work experience in a similar Housekeeping Manager role, preferably within a 4 or 5 star environment
About You...
To be successful in the role, you must
Demonstrate strong Leadership skills: Lead the team from the front, drive performance and productivity
Be available to work on a rotating roster when required.
Possess full Australian working rights.
Have excellent grooming and standards.
Show strong management and organizational skills.
Have experience managing staff, including recruitment, development, rostering, and performance improvement.
Have a solid understanding of workplace safety policies and responsibilities.
Possess experience managing room counts, payroll, and daily compliance with the Hospitality Industry General award.
Be familiar with outsourcing processes (Highly desirable)
To succeed in this role you will need the following skills and attributes:
Passionate and consistent, with excellent attention to detail
Proven ability to work effectively and build relationships with internal hotel teams, such as General Manager, front office and Maintenance
Demonstrated Leadership: Ability to lead staff to drive performance, quality and productivity
Knowledge and experience in maintaining the highest standards of housekeeping procedures in accordance with client expectations and industry regulations.
Experience in mangaing staff performance, including training, development and work allocation.
Excellent time management skills
