We have an exciting opportunity for an Allocator to join our Regional Concrete Team at our Mugga Site located in Symontston. This dynamic role offers you the chance to plan driver schedules in line with customer orders while gaining broad exposure to our concrete operations.
This role is perfect for a proactive problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent attention to detail, and delivers exceptional customer service.
Days and Hours of Work:
Monday – Friday: 6:00am – 2:30pm
Saturday as required during busy periods
Your day will involve:
Covering Mugga, Mitchell, and Hall plants, with a focus on Mugga and Mitchell.
Manage concrete allocations and assist with Customer Service Administration tasks.
Handle a high volume of phone calls (up to 50 per day during busy periods).
Chase job completions and plan next day schedules.
Use Command software to manage orders and follow up on large end-of-week orders.
Schedule and roster our driver fleet.
Communicate with customers to confirm orders and ensure timely delivery.
What are we looking for?
Experience in scheduling or dispatch in real-time (preferred).
Strong customer service focus with a solution-oriented mindset.
Comfortable navigating multiple systems.
Excellent problem-solving, prioritization, and adaptability skills.
Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-changing environments.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
