We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead our HR team at a reputable packaging company in Chennai. As a key member of the management team, you will be responsible for all HR matters, including recruitment, performance reviews, wage reviews, disciplinary action, and learning and development.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, with experience in senior roles such as HR Manager or equivalent positions. You should also have knowledge of relevant legal requirements and be able to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment: Consistently recruit excellent staff to meet business needs.
Onboarding: Maintain a smooth onboarding process for new employees.
Training and Development: Provide training, counseling, and coaching to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Conflict Resolution: Resolve conflicts through positive and professional mediation.
Administrative Duties: Carry out necessary administrative duties to support the HR function.
Performance Reviews: Conduct performance and wage reviews to ensure fairness and equity.
Policies and Procedures: Develop clear policies and ensure policy awareness among employees.
Reporting: Create clear and concise reports to management and other stakeholders.
Presentation Skills: Give helpful and engaging presentations to various audiences.
Health and Safety: Maintain and report on workplace health and safety compliance.
Investigations and Disciplinary Procedures: Handle workplace investigations, disciplinary procedures, and termination processes.
Employee and Workplace Privacy: Maintain employee and workplace privacy in accordance with legal requirements.
Team Leadership: Lead a team of junior human resource managers to achieve HR objectives.
Requirements:
Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Coaching and Education: Experience in educating and coaching staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Conflict Resolution and Disciplinary Processes: Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
Workplace Privacy: Experience in following and maintaining workplace privacy.
Presentation Skills: Ability to give presentations to various audiences.
Health and Safety Knowledge: Knowledge of relevant health and safety laws and regulations.
Computer Literacy: Experience using computers for a variety of tasks, including Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
