Full Time Fixed Term Contract (up until 30 June 2027)
Location – Convenient Northcote location, close to public transport
Hybrid work arrangement
The IT Project Services team ensure that the Programmes and Projects within the IT Project Services portfolio are delivered to the Darebin City Council business and projected benefits are realised.

The IT Project Administration Officer will play a key role in supporting the IT Project Services team in the delivery of Council’s portfolio of IT Projects. The role also supports staff across the entire Information Services team in providing administrative support around complex procurements processes. The role requires a high attention to detail, advanced interpersonal skills, excellent organisational and documentation skills to provide necessary support to the IT Project Services team in a timely, cost effective manner and in accordance with industry best practice and relevant acts and regulations

Full time – Two year fixed term (Until 30 June 2027)
Salary - $80,+61.40 plus super
Location – Convenient Preston location, close to public transport

About the Role
Assist with the preparation of documentation relating to all phases of the project life cycle.
Undertake procurement functions including creating of purchase orders and monitoring of workflows for all procurement activities.
Assist with undertaking cyber assessments of council’s current and potential new suppliers.
Providing information and regular support to project managers and stakeholders as needed.
Assist in keeping track of project budgets, expenditures and reporting.
Sharing relevant documentation and reports with project teams.
Help to set up project meetings, organise venues, arrange for resources and equipment for the project.
Documenting project processes, maintaining records and meeting minutes.
Other duties as directed within the skills and capabilities of a position at this level.
Skills Experience
Demonstrate a sound degree of project administration, scheduling, documentation and coordination skills and achievements in successfully supporting multiple project / IT enabled initiatives.
