About The Role

We seek a self-driven and curious Android Developer to join our dynamic team. As an Android Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing high-quality applications and contributing to the architecture and scalability of our technology solutions. You will learn about the exponentially growing EV industry and various IoT applications.

Responsibilities
• Work with Product Managers: Develop high-quality Android applications, working closely with our product managers.
• Great Code: Write modular, readable, and performant code.
• Integrate with backend: Seamlessly integrate applications with backend services, ensuring their functionality across various layers of the application and infrastructure stack.
• Cross-Device Work: Design applications compatible with different Android versions, varied screen sizes, and specific permission requirements.
• Collab with Designers: Take ownership of feature design, architecture, and planning, collaborating closely with the design team to implement solutions aligned with customer needs.

Requirements
• Experience : 3+ years of experience developing Android applications
• Know Android: Expertise in Android SDK and Knowledge of Android UI design patterns, principles and best practices
• Integration: Should be able to quickly ramp up on hardware integration such as Bluetooth, Wifi etc
• Maps: Construct advanced location-based service applications utilizing frameworks like Google Maps API, enhancing user experience and functionality.
• Data Management: Architect applications to function seamlessly in environments with intermittent connectivity, ensuring offline functionality in areas with poor GPS or internet signals. Implement solutions to queue and transmit data once connectivity is restored.
• APIs: Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services, cloud messaging APIs and push notifications, and data from additional sensors such as gyroscopes, accelerometers and infrared sensors
• Fast-paced: Display agility in delivering solutions within a fast-paced environment.
