Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting industrial equipment and structures, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet safety and aesthetic standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
Apply paint using various methods including spray guns, rollers, or brushes to achieve desired finishes.
Inspect finished work for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments or touch-ups.
Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently during the painting process.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety protocols.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all equipment is properly stored after use.
Assist in the assembly and fabrication of parts as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge for optimal results.
Skills

Proficient in using power tools and hand tools related to painting and fabrication processes.
Familiarity with operating forklifts and cranes for material handling within the work environment.
Basic math skills for measuring areas and calculating paint quantities accurately.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
Previous experience painting in auto body shop is an asset.

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
