Industrial Painter

Job Description

Reporting to the department foreman, the successful candidates will be performing the following duties:

· Setting up material to be painted

· Painting of Structural Steel and process piping

· De-masking and packaging of products for delivery

· Touch-up painting

· General housekeeping and clean up

. forklift operation

Requirements

NO HOUSE PAINTERS / DECORATORS

In this role, the successful candidates will have:

. Minimum 1 year of Industrial painting

· Proven commitment to safety

. knowledge of paint systems and paint application equipment

· The ability to use tools equipment safely and abide by the health and safety rules

· Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

· Excellent communication, attitude, collaborative skills and ability to follow directions

· Ability to lift up to 60lbs, work at heights, be agile and able to go on/off equipment, up/down ladders

Experience with rigging, slings and chains

Working Conditions:

· You will work in a large manufacturing facility with other trades present

· Outside/inside work

· Physically demanding position
