Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate North Indian Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of North Indian cuisine and be an expert in preparing traditional dishes such as Rajma Chawal, Kadhi Chawal, Chole Chawal, and Veg Biryani. If you have a flair for creating authentic and flavorful North Indian meals, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook North Indian dishes including Rajma Chawal, Kadhi Chawal, Chole Chawal, and Veg Biryani to the highest standards.
• Ensure all meals are prepared with the freshest ingredients and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Develop and refine recipes to maintain consistency and quality.
• Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to create new menu items and specials.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to established recipes and procedures.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a North Indian Chef or similar role in a reputable restaurant or food establishment.
• In-depth knowledge of North Indian cuisine and cooking techniques.
• Ability to prepare Rajma Chawal, Kadhi Chawal, Chole Chawal, and Veg Biryani with authenticity and expertise.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with grace.
• A passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering high-quality food.
