Hvac Warranty Technician Hayward, Ca
Bell Brothers is seeking an experienced HVAC Warranty Technician to fill this key role. In this position, you will provide expert consulting, diagnosing, and troubleshooting services for residential HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, repair, and report installation and service issues both at-fault and no-fault.
Coordinate with the Dispatch Department to ensure any warranty issues on recent service calls are completed beyond client satisfaction.
Diagnose malfunctions of heating and air conditioning systems and/or components for the purpose of identifying repair/replacement needs necessary to maintain equipment and systems.
Repair heating and air conditioning systems and related equipment for the purpose of providing residents with comfort.
Maintain tools, supplies, and/or equipment for the purpose of ensuring their availability in safe operating condition.
Order repair parts and supplies to be completed same day or have them overnighted to be completed next day or at a client-requested time.
Prepare documentation for the purpose of providing written support and conveying information.
Review warranty calls daily to improve department quality and prevent future warranty calls.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Service Manager or Dispatch Department.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED; completion of a relevant HVAC training program or apprenticeship.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HVAC technician.
Licenses: Valid driver's license.
Skills: Strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces and at heights; physical stamina and dexterity.
