Job Description
As our Assistant Manager Human Resources, you will provide generalist HR advice and support, including advising management and other staff on matters including recruitment, learning and development, establishment, induction, pay and leave management.
You will assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies, undertake projects and/or research and prepare a range of correspondence, submissions, briefings and reports in a timely manner.
Additionally, you will provide coaching and support to managers and assist with the investigation and reporting of issues of a complex and/or sensitive nature.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Understanding of the Tasmanian State Service
Recent experience in learning and development, recruitment or generalist human resources
Degree or diploma in a relevant discipline
Driver's Licence
