To fulfill Pattison Agricultures’ vision of GROWING, CONNECTING AND EVOLVING we are looking for a Human Capital Advisor who will report to the Human Capital Manager and will be based out of any of our Pattison Agriculture locations. The Human Capital Advisor will work alongside members of the Human Capital Department, the successful candidate will provide support for a broad range of human resources functions and administrative duties ensuring a quality service approach to all internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

This individual’s responsibilities include:

Assisting with day-to-day operations of the HC department functions and duties Working with and supporting recruiting activities (including creation of job postings, screening interviews, reference checks, liaise with position supervisor/managers, etc.) Supporting department managers in administration and scheduling of regularly occurring HC processes Facilitating new hire orientation and on-boarding requirements Assisting staff to interpret and implement HC/Organizational policies and procedures Attending and actively contributing to HC organizational meetings and committees General HC administration such as filing, data entry, document preparation and distribution, legislative research, etc. Other HC administrative tasks

Requirements

Diploma or degree in a Human Resources or related field (business, commerce, HR, etc.)A combination of education and experience may be considered. Candidate must be professional and be able to exercise discretion and judgment when handling confidential and sensitive information Excellent communication (verbal and written) and teamwork skills Good attention to detail and organizational skills Knowledge of Employment Standards Act and relevant legislation is beneficial Skilled in using Microsoft Office Suite and Internet applications Valid driver’s license, and a willingness to be flexible with hours, as needed
