This is a project-based role requiring immediate availability and deep expertise in Indian labor laws and HR best practices for small companies. The successful candidate will establish foundational HR systems, documentation, and statutory compliance for our IT services startup. Key responsibilities include:
• Setting up legal and statutory documents, including registration under the Delhi Shops Establishments Act, EPF, ESI, and other applicable laws.
• Drafting and finalizing employee handbook, HR policies, and standard templates for offer letters, appointment letters, and other documents.
• Designing a compliant pay structure and setting up payroll processing, including TDS, PF, ESI, and professional tax deductions.
• Developing onboarding kits, checklists, and exit formalities.
• Implementing a basic HRIS or payroll tool suitable for a small IT company.
Key Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of [2] years of experience in setting up HR functions for startups or small IT companies, as well as in-depth knowledge of Indian labor laws, Delhi-specific compliance, payroll, and statutory deductions. They should also have excellent communication, documentation, and project management skills, and be available for a full-time, 2-month engagement.
