Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced HR Admin to join our team in Kolkata. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing industrial relations, providing administrative support, and handling recruitment and onboarding processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective HR strategies to improve employee relations and productivity.
Provide administrative support to the HR department, including data entry, record-keeping, and communication with employees.
Manage recruitment and onboarding processes, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently.
Conduct employee relations activities, including training and development programs, to promote a positive work environment.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of employee information, including personnel files, attendance records, and performance evaluations.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including labor laws, employment standards, and health and safety protocols.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of HR functions, including payroll, benefits administration, and training.
Monitor and report on key HR metrics, including turnover rates, time-to-hire, and employee satisfaction.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in an HR administrative role, preferably in the metals and mining industry.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build relationships with employees, managers, and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HR software and databases.
Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
