Job Summary:
We are looking for a self-driven and experienced HR Manager who will be the sole HR professional in the organization, responsible for managing end-to-end HR activities including recruitment, payroll, compliance, employee engagement, policy formulation, training, and more. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an independent role and is capable of building and executing HR strategies from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Onboarding:
Manage the full recruitment cycle for all levels, from sourcing to onboarding.
Coordinate with department heads to identify manpower needs.
Ensure a smooth induction process for new employees.
Payroll Compensation:
Prepare and process monthly payroll in coordination with accounts.
Maintain attendance and leave records.
Handle employee reimbursements, PF, ESIC, and other statutory components.
Compliance Documentation:
Maintain employee records, contracts, and statutory compliance documentation.
Ensure compliance with labor laws, PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Shops Establishment Act, etc.
Coordinate with consultants or legal advisers for audits or regulatory updates.
Employee Relations Engagement:
Act as a point of contact for employee queries and grievances.
Drive initiatives to improve workplace culture and employee morale.
Organize team-building activities and internal communications.
Training Development:
Identify training needs and coordinate sessions for staff skill development.
Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness.
Policy Formulation Implementation:
Draft and implement HR policies and ensure adherence.
Regularly update policies as per industry trends and legal requirements.
Performance Management:
Manage appraisal cycles, goal setting, and performance reviews.
Work with department heads on feedback and improvement plans.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 4 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in the construction or project-based sector.
Strong understanding of labor laws and statutory compliance in Maharashtra.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple HR functions.
