Designation: HOD- English
Essential Qualification-
• Secondary and Senior secondary from CBSE or ICSE with min 75% marks
• BA (H) from Tier 1 City/ College
• MA- Eng from Tier 1 City/ College
• B.Ed.
• Only full-time degree courses
• Should be well- versed with MS-Office
Experience- Minimum 10 years as PGT- English in a school of repute preferably in Delhi-NCR
Job Description (includes But Not Restricted To)-
• Taking classes as per the allotment
• Overall supervision of the department
• Ensuring effective delivery of curriculum as per the academic calendar
• Class observation following a particular schedule (at least 2 per teacher per term).
• Copy checking of English department’s teachers once a month.
• Question paper checking of the English department.
• In-charge of the annual inter-school literature festival
• In-charge of the school magazine
• A brief report of own work to be submitted to the Principal’s office every month.
• Undertake any duty that the management deems necessary for the effective operation of the school
