Duties
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications.
Construct frameworks for buildings using wood or metal materials.
Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently as needed for framing tasks.
Utilize power tools to cut, shape, and assemble materials.
Perform concrete forming tasks to establish foundations for structures.
Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
Conduct restoration work on existing structures as required.
Lift heavy materials and components safely throughout the framing process.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Framer or in a similar construction role.
Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics.
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely.
Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to framing work.
Experience with concrete forming techniques is preferred.
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
