HGV2 Hiab Driver

Class 1 personnel are working with a client to recruit a HGV2 Hiab Driver (newly qualified HiAb acceptable), at their site in the local Welwyn/Hatfield area. Our client has established themselves as the market leading business in their sector and their success is based in giving the very best customer service and outstanding quality.

This vacancy is to join a dynamic friendly team driving HGV2 HiAb, delivery across Home Counties areas. This is an exciting new position that has opened due to the growth within the company.

DUTIES for the HGV2 HiAb

Delivering and collecting materials with the assistants of a crane.

Maintaining the vehicle to a high standard.

Achieving operational targets and contractual KPI's.

Providing accurate daily information to enable an effective handover.

Ensuring a safe and productive workplace where the Company's legislative and commercial obligations are met.

Assisting the site staff with making up and loading of vehicles.

Essential criteria for HGV2 HiAb

Crane/Hiab Licence/Knowledge.

Full driver's valid CPC and Tacho

Ability to work on your own initiative, working to strict deadlines.

You should process well developed organisational skills and be able to demonstrate commitment to deliver consistent quality.

Good communication both verbal and written.

Excellent customer service skillsWe are happy to consider newly qualified Hiab Drivers as further development is offered with the role

Working hours will be 44hrs covering Monday to Friday and working every 2nd Saturday till 12.
