We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team for a prestigious Aramco project in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting heavy equipment used in construction, oil gas, and industrial projects. This role demands a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy equipment such as bulldozers, cranes, loaders, excavators, and graders.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment efficiency and safety.
• Conduct repairs on engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and other components as per manufacturer specifications.
• Utilize diagnostic tools, service manuals, and equipment schematics to address mechanical issues.
• Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and service logs.
• Ensure compliance with Aramco safety and quality standards during all repair and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure equipment availability and operational readiness.
• Identify parts and materials needed for repairs and ensure timely procurement.
• Provide training and guidance to equipment operators on proper maintenance practices.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering, Heavy Equipment Maintenance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic, preferably in the oil gas or construction sector.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures, especially in industrial or oil gas environments.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment brands such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Volvo, and Liebherr.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work in challenging environments.
