Join Our Team as a Health Care Assistant (HCA) – Endoscopy Unit, Totara Haumaru
We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced Health Care Assistant to become a vital part of our dynamic Endoscopy unit at Totara Haumaru. If you have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and are ready to work flexible rostered shifts, we want to hear from you!

This is an exciting time for our unit as we grow and expand, and we’re seeking exceptional HCAs who are passionate about delivering compassionate patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Registered Nurses with patient care before and after procedures
Assist with safe patient transfers
Collaborate effectively with our multi-disciplinary team
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked unit, including linen, trolleys, and supplies
What We’re Looking For:

Proven excellence in customer service with a strong focus on building positive relationships
A true team player who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Genuine passion for patient-centered care
Strong verbal communication skills and proficiency in written English
Some understanding of the healthcare system
Previous experience as an HCA or in a related healthcare role
Dependable with a reputation for completing tasks efficiently and on time
