One on one home care jobs with a flexible schedule and paid benefits.

We are currently looking for individuals with dementia and brain injury experience who would be comfortable with cigarette smoke, and with the following ongoing availability:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday Friday: 07:00-1+:00, 1+:00-07:00

Saturday and Sunday : 07:00-1+:00, 1+:00-07:00 (Alt weekend)

The Work You Will Do
As a Personal Caregiver, you will provide high-quality and compassionate care to your clients in the community with exceptional customer service. Some tasks can include personal care and activities of daily living. Homemaking services such as cleaning, cooking, laundry and general household management. Companionship and/or accompanying clients to activities and events in the community.

At Bayshore, your safety is our top priority. We will provide you with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and appropriate training, as well as daily infection prevention screening of clients and workers, prior to visits, to help prevent exposures to COVID-1+.


Qualifications:
Requirements:

Completion of formal, accredited caregiver training program and/or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
Strong knowledge of the principles of caregiving as well as well as customer service.
Able to communicate in spoken and written English; French proficiency will be deemed an asset
Provide high-quality care services to clients with current knowledge of practices for community care
Physically assist clients with movement and/or repositioning; able to lift 23 kgs., squat, bend, stand and reach
Reliable mode of transportation; driver's license and automobile considered as an asset
Able to produce a clear Criminal background check with Vulnerable Sector Check
